Toad in the Hole
If you ask someone from the North of the UK what their favourite dish is, Toad in the Hole would definitely be near the top. This classic British comfort dish can be easily prepared in the Küchen Air Fryer for a perfectly golden and fluffy result. Made with sausages baked in Yorkshire pudding batter, it is ideal as a hearty snack or satisfying evening meal.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 small sausages
- 165 g plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 160 ml milk
- 120 ml cold water
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 red onion, finely sliced
- 15 g rosemary
- Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Take an oven-safe dish that fits inside your Küchen Air Fryer and coat it with olive oil.
- Sift the flour into a medium bowl. Whisk in the eggs, then gradually add milk and water until you get a smooth batter.
- Add the sliced onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pierce the sausages lightly and insert sprigs of rosemary into them. Place the sausages into the prepared dish.
- Pour the batter evenly over the sausages.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 160°C and bake for 30 minutes, or until the batter is puffed and golden.
